Nicole Kidman’s Hollywood Friends Reportedly Iced Out Keith Urban

It’s been a long week of news for Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban after their shocking divorce was announced on Sept. 30.

They had been together for 19 years and shared daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Still, the news about Urban’s possible infidelity trickled throughout the week, and now, it sounds like Kidman’s inner circle has drawn the line on their friendship with the 57-year-old country singer.

“He’s dead in Hollywood,” claimed one Hollywood insider to Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack. Another source added, “Nicole’s friends have closed ranks. His name is gone from every list.” While it’s natural for close pals to take sides in a divorce, Kidman is deeply entrenched in the Nashville, Tennessee life — her kids go to school there, and frequent co-star and BFF, Reese Witherspoon, also has a home there.

A third entertainment industry pal pointed out, “No one will take his calls. Without Nicole, he’s invisible.” It’s evident that Urban’s Hollywood life will be much smaller, but he is still a part of the tight country music circle.

After the couple’s split was announced, several interviews with Urban have resurfaced, and it appeared that he was emotionally detached from the marriage for some time.

One glance at the July 22 episode of On Air with Ryan Seacrest, and it’s easy to see that the signs were all there. Seacrest asked Urban how they handle their busy careers and keep their marriage healthy.

“It’s a job, yeah,” he responded. “Life is in session.”

Seacrest pressed on, praising him for having a strong marriage over the last two decades, and the only thing Urban could muster up was, “Mhm, yeah.” Oof!

TMZ alleged that there is “another woman” in the picture. “Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it,” a source told the media outlet. “It’s all over Nashville.”

Fans are pointing fingers at Urban’s 25-year-old guitarist, Maggie Baugh, who has neither confirmed nor denied the allegations. He’s been changing lyrics on his single, “The Fighter,” which was originally inspired by his early days of love with Kidman. Instead of referencing his wife, he’s been adapting them to include Baugh — which is rather uncomfortable given the divorce news.

It’s going to be a new chapter for Urban, and it’s likely that some of his old pals won’t be a part of it.
