Bite into one of Costco’s new French-style pastries to start your morning in the best way. Shoppers are praising this delectable treat that is impossible to resist!
Instagram user Shannon Fong (@costco.so.obsessed) spotted the chocolate hazelnut beignets in the bakery section of an LA Costco. For those not familiar with the cult favorite pastry, it’s a deep-fried doughnut topped with powdered sugar and often served with dipping sauces. Of course, the Costco one is filled with a yummy chocolate and hazelnut blend that elevates it even further.
“OMG beignets with chocolate hazelnut filling I can’t wait to try this!” Fong posted today. She shared pictures of this beloved French pastry, which are just $9.99 for 22, and every photo makes our mouth water!
The chocolate hazelnut beignets look so delicious, sprinkled in confectioners’ sugar. They are just begging to be warmed up and eaten with coffee in the afternoon (or the morning — pastries are good any time!).
“Oh my! They look amazing,” one person commented. Someone else wrote, “omg I neeeeeeeeed.”
“Had them. Hard to stop eating them,” someone else wrote. We aren’t surprised by this at all!
There are even comments about these beignets on the Costco SubReddit. One person who tried them wrote, “They are absolutely amazing. Light and pillowy with basically Nutella inside.”
“this looks like something I would accidentally finish in one sitting,” another quipped. Someone else called the treat “addictive and sooo worth it.”
Costco is known for their incredible finds in the bakery section (and the food court!). Like their six-layer mocha crunch bar cake or their caramel apple strudel. Based on the wholesaler’s history of delicious items and all the fantastic customer reviews, we are going to purchase a box on our next Costco run. It looks like the perfect fall pastry!
