Jen and Zac Affleck’s marriage issues are front and center in season two of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, with the influencer revealing in the first episode of the show that she and her husband separated after the events of season one.
“It’s been a few months of straight hell since Vegas,” Jen says in the season two opener, reflecting on the couple’s blow-up fight after she attended a Chippendales performance with her castmates at the end of season one. “Currently, we are separated.”
However, as the season progresses, it’s clear that Zac and Jen are working on their marriage, so where do the couple stand today?
Are Jen & Zac Affleck Still Together?
Jen and Zac are together, and she is currently expecting their third child. Ahead of season two, Jen told People that she reconciled with her husband after a lot of therapy and work on their relationship.
“We are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel,” she said. “Right now I’m focusing on my mental health, my marriage and becoming the best version of myself that I can be.”

At the start of season two, the pair are living apart and trying different forms of therapy while having frank discussions about Zac’s jealousy and control issues. “It’s all a blessing in disguise, but I definitely think it is daunting coming back to MomTok because we have gone through so much being a part of it,” Jen told People. “But again, we’re learning so much on the way, so only taking the positives right now.”
In another interview with People, Jen described the fight over Chippendales as “traumatizing,” saying, “Zac and I can’t run away from Chippendales apparently, but hey, we’ve seen the light at the end of the tunnel. If you’ve followed my social media, you know that.”
She also joked about a TikTok she posted in March showing her and Zac attending a Chippendales show together where she even danced on stage while he watched. “We’ve taken some trips to Chippendales now, so now it’s something that we laugh about,” she said.
In February, Jen revealed to People that she’s pregnant with baby #3, who will join son Lucas, 19 months, and daughter Nora, 3. “I was a few days late, and while it was a surprise, we both had a feeling there was another baby waiting for us,” she said. “We were very excited, there were a lot of emotions after a very crazy year!”
Jen and Zac met on the Mormon dating app Mutual in 2018 and married in 2019. At the end of season one, the couple was planning a move to Arizona for Zac’s medical school but he has since decided to defer his offer. “He still hasn’t officially decided,” Jen told People of whether he’ll continue his studies. “He still has about five months to decide, but as of right now, I think his priority is just supporting me and so I guess we’ll see.”
